4. Delivery terms
Goods are delivered within the territory of the Republic of Latvia. Purchased goods are delivered by:
SIA "Sonaks Pluss" couriers;
collection from the office at Dēļu iela 7, Riga;
Omniva and DPD parcel machine and courier partners.
Any duties and taxes payable to receive a parcel at its destination are borne by the buyer.
Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed. Purchased goods are delivered to the address given by the buyer within 1–2 working days, depending on the delivery method chosen, if the item is in stock. In exceptional cases we have the right to send the goods within up to 45 calendar days, informing the customer accordingly.
5. Right of withdrawal
The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the item. If an item cannot be returned, this will be stated beside it together with the reason. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal entity.
To exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal, goods may only be used for their intended purpose, and the consumer is responsible for preserving their quality and safety during the withdrawal period. If goods have been misused or damaged through careless handling or by not following the instructions, or if the original packaging has been lost or significantly damaged, the online shop may reduce the refund in line with the reduction in the value of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, a private individual must submit the withdrawal form available in the customer portal, or send the information to pasutijumi@sonaks.lv, within 14 days of receiving the goods.
The buyer bears the cost of returning the item, except where it is returned because it does not match the order (for example, a wrong or damaged product).
The buyer must return the goods to the seller without delay, and no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal form to the online shop. After receiving the returned goods, the online shop immediately, and no later than within 14 days, refunds all payments received from the buyer under the distance contract.
The seller may withhold the refund until it has received the goods or proof that they have been returned. If the buyer chose a delivery method other than the cheapest one offered by the online shop, the online shop is not obliged to refund the extra delivery cost.
The online shop is not liable for delay or failure in performing its obligations caused by circumstances and obstacles beyond its reasonable control.
The online shop reserves the right to refuse to sell goods and to ask the buyer to return them if the price shown in the online shop is significantly below the market price because of an error.
6. Consumer rights regarding goods not in conformity with the contract
The online shop is liable for any non-conformity of goods sold with the terms of the contract, or for defects, that arise within 6 months of the day the goods are delivered to the customer or that existed at the time of delivery, unless this assumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the defect. The buyer must inform the seller of the non-conformity without delay, within 2 months of discovering it, by submitting a complaint to pasutijumi@sonaks.lv.
The online shop is not liable for defects arising after the goods have been delivered to the buyer. If purchased goods have defects for which the seller is liable, the buyer may ask for the defects to be remedied or for the goods to be replaced with new ones free of charge.
If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the seller refunds to the buyer all payments provided for in the distance contract. The seller replies to a consumer complaint in writing within 15 days.
7. Processing of the buyer’s personal data
The online shop processes only the personal data the buyer entered when ordering goods, such as first name, surname and e-mail address.
The online shop passes personal data to transport service providers in order to deliver the goods.
If you have expressly agreed to receive our marketing messages, including news, we may from time to time send you information about our services and latest offers. For this purpose we may process the e-mail address you gave when signing up. You can opt out of these messages by writing to pasutijumi@sonaks.lv.
8. Dispute resolution
In matters not covered by these terms, the buyer and the seller undertake to comply with the laws in force in the Republic of Latvia.
The parties resolve all disputes through negotiation or correspondence. If a dispute cannot be resolved in this way, it is resolved in a court of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the law.
